After about a year and a half together, Agent Rubin and I have SO amicably parted ways. I absolutely adore and respect him. I consider him, above all, my friend. 

Now that period starts where I test the waters solo as I carefully look at agents. I need someone who can handle me which means putting up with (:)) a person with a zillion ideas at once, a dozen projects started, being willing to sub on partials and be super, SUPER familiar with YA editors. I want to continue writing tween and chapter books, delve into an ebook series, write romance-centered YA along the lines of Bloomsbury’s IF ONLY line, and write gritty, dark YA that is totally as far away from what I’ve published as possible.
