Deadline Land

In the deep cave of Deadline Land, but had to say “HI!” and say that I have *two* pieces of HUGE news to share! I haaaaate that I have to wait until I get the okay, but I will share the second my S&S peeps say I can. Hopefully, I can share one sooner than the other so you all at least know one thing. 🙂

I’ve gotta get back to Lauren (she’s about to go do something . . . scary, so I need to get her out of it!).

Don’t forget about the supercool Stable of E-Books 1-4 releasing on July 26th! Yaay!

I’m BURSTING with AWESOME news to share with you guys!!! It’s probably going to be a little while before I can reveal it but, man, it’s sooo hard not to tell! *lowers voice to a whisper . . . I wish I could and have my editor not know . . .* 🙂

This weekend, I’m set to writing like a crazy person at Kate’s late great uncle’s apartment. Initiation is gonna be GOOD. It’s so, so addictive for me and I want to write all the time. I think I’ll have to make some cuts or it’ll be looong.

Tonight, we have dinner with a dear from of Allen’s (Kate’s great uncle).

Right now, we’re on in the living room watching The Voice and I’m writing.

I got superlucky and had time to run the # of entrants (plus extra entries) through the generator and the “see-your-name-in-Initiation” contest winners have been chosen at random!

I feel so grateful to have had so many entries. The best part was SEEING you guys! I love putting a face to your names. You all have such beautiful names that I bet some of them pop up in future books. I mean, where better to look for names than Team Canterwood?!
Since we had sooo many fab entrants, I changed it up a little. We are going to have one main winner, as mentioned, and TWO runners up. The main winner’s name will appear more frequently and will have dialogue. The runners up with make a brief appearance in a scene in the book.
So, no more torture!

till CHOSEN releases! I’m sooooooooo excited about this book! It’s the first ever Canterwood super special and Kate and I worked our butts off on this book. Notice I said “first” super special? Welllll, I’m announcing it for the first time that there will be another super special! A holiday themed one. 🙂 I’m superthrilled to be writing about the holidays, winter, parties, horses in the snow, etc. It’s going to be so. much. fun. I hope you guys like the plan, too!

It’s going to be a non-stop working weekend for me. I’ll be writing INITIATION. It’s coming along well so far. A little slow with the beginning just because I still heard Sasha’s voice in my head, but now I hear Lauren. I absolutely love her and I think you will too.

I want to know your weekend plans! Doing anything fun? Reading anything good? Spill!

Not, lol. 8+ hours later over 2 days, I’m getting close to finishing taxes. Yay!

That’s the biz side of writing–the numbers and figures. I can’t do math to save my life. I failed math in 6th and 7th grade. Not even a tutor or my friends could save me. 🙂

But I’m almost done and then . . . I’m outlining INITIATION and working on DOMINATE with Kate. Soooo exciting to have a new series to work on.
