Thanks, Womango Regional High School!

I had the best Skype with you all! Everyone asked awesome questions and bravo Nick for jumping in! 🙂 I love having guys in my sessions.

Good luck to all of you during NaNo and Tweet or Facebook me with your progress!

And, just because, here are some pics I took with my Webcam while waiting to Skype, lol . . .

(The kitty hat is from Kohls, btw!) 🙂

Happy Friday! xoxo

Pics from Barnes & Noble signing :)

Barnes & Noble in Tribecca. So pretty!

I. Have. A. Sign. Several, actually! OMG. And those are CC books next to the table.

Just started speaking. I love having a podium to, um, hide behind. 🙂

Love the green curtain.

Posing with my bestie/Canterwood partner extraordinaire Kate.

Jill aka “Sasha Silver” signing autographs! She’s a rock star.

Jill and a reader girly.

Smiling for the camera with Miss Jill. I totally heart her!

Signing for some awesome girls.

More signing!

Smiling because we’re having a great chat.

I look very serious here, LOL.

She came on crutches! Aw!

If you click on this pic, you can REALLY see my purple hair tinsel. 🙂

Signing it a glittery pink pen.

Still signing . . .

Ah, see the tinsel now! 🙂

Signing a book for Jill.

Pretty smile. 🙂

I had so much fun at my B&N signing! We had special guests–Jill aka Sasha and Editor K.

Also, instead of reading from UNFRIENDLY COMPETITION, I read an excerpt from CHOSEN and showed the full front and back of the cover.

I also announced that . . .

I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’ve signed a new four-book deal to continue Canterwood! We’re up to *20* books, guys!!! YAY! And how lucky are we to have Editor K on board. Sooo excited.

I’ve got video of the event that I’ll upload soon so YOU can see me read from CHOSEN.

Hope you like the pics!

xoxo

First snow pics!

Took a few pics from yesterday’s snow. I think we’re done with snow for a while, but I’ve gotta get snow boots. As I walked home yesterday, I was totally prepared to pull a Bella Swan and be like, “Ice really doesn’t help the uncoordinated” when I wiped out. But I made it!

So. Much. Work. To. Do.

Going now!

Pics of Behind the Bit!

Callie and Black Jack

Sneaky Alison

A final copy of BEHIND THE BIT (May 19, 2009)!!! Yaaaay! My favorite part is the expression on Alison’s face on the back cover. She’s totally up to something…oh, snap.

Again, sparkles must be bestowed upon Kate Angelella, Jessica Handelman, Monica Stevenson & crew and everyone at Aladdin MIX (only the coolest, best imprint ever) who worked on BEHIND THE BIT. Thank you all for working so hard on my books! And I’ve told EK a million times, but it’s worth repeating, she’s seriously brilliant. She comes up with the coolest tag lines that are beyond perfect for the books.

Holding a finished copy of my third (OMG) book is no less exciting than when I got copies of TAKE THE REINS. It’s the most intense/wow/amazing feeling to see the finished book.

Happy sigh. 🙂

Scrap driftwood horses

My aunt Lola sent me these pics in an email. Aren’t these AMAZING? These women (I don’t know who they are–I wish I did!) create these horses out of scrap driftwood. So. Cool. I think they’re gorgeous. I want one. 🙂

Today, I’ve got my interview for Tallahassee Magazine at Starbucks. Yay! I don’t want to scare the woman, so I *won’t* have an espresso before she arrives. ‘Cause I’m nice like that. 😉 But when I email people later, they’ll be like, “Uh-oh. You’re hyper. Coffee. I can tell.”

Take the Reins pic and guest blog at Book Chic’s

Another pic to share! Emily Hendricks sent me this from her store, The Book Rack, in Cape Girardeau, MO. Those copies have signed postcards inside, too. Fun!

Also, the Book Chic posted my guest blog today. I talked about how not even electric shocks could keep me away from horses when I was a kid. 🙂

I spoke with the manager at my local Barnes & Noble and she told me to feel free to come in and sign stock. Yay! I’m going tonight. Very excited.

Where’s Sasha?

It’s a gift from Santa! Or, technically, Editor K.

Look! Sasha and Charm are chilling in the living room.

Gasp! My books on an actual shelf!

TTR found its way into my purse.

The copies are tired. Where will they go next? Hmm…

Happy holidays, friends! 🙂
