Happy Saturday, everyone!

I’ve been under the weather for a week or so, so I’ve been offline. But, I’m slowly getting back to normal. I missed blogging and chatting with Team Canterwood!

Also, the photo shoot is on Monday! Um, YAY!! Sadly, I’m not feeling well enough to go. 😦 😦 But I’ve got the best team ever and we’ve got some amazing stuff already lined up for the covers. They’re going to be FABULOUS–you’ll see.

I’m about to get back to working on UNFRIENDLY COMPETITION, so I’m glad to jump back into Canterwood land. The book will be finished soon and, sniff, it’ll be the last time I write from Sasha’s POV. But, I’m also extremely excited. When this book is done, Kate and I will be working on our YA idea together and *that’s* supersuperexciting. 🙂

I think (hopefully!) I’m back to regular blogging. I was really sick for 3 days or so and am finally back on my feet and feeling like normal. I was going stir-crazy after forcing myself *not* to do work after the 2nd day of being sick. But I think it was good to take a break. I’m only going to work for a couple of hours today, then I’m done. Got a sparkly event on Friday that I have to be in perfect shape for, so I’m okay with taking a slow week and then working like a crazy person over the weekend.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! If you dressed as a Canterwood character, please email me a pic! I’d love to see. I’ve already seen a photo of a reader as Heather Fox and it was soooo cool. 🙂

And, um, the countdown to NEW MOON is drawing closer! How exciting is that?! I. Am. Ready. Now.

Articles, Interviews and Sick

Thanks so much to everyone who e-mailed me about my mag article. I’ve got the quotes I need and really appreciate it! 🙂

Yesterday, I did a fantastic interview with a teen champion barrel racer. It was the perfect interview for a horse crazy writer and since I usually ride English, it was fun to talk to someone who only rides Western.

I’ve got to write up the above article today and keep working on edits. Oh, and I’m sick. Yeah. 😦 Apparently, the sore throat/headache/other cold symptoms are floating around. Can’t remember the last time I was sick!

How’s everyone’s week so far? Anyone watch Idol and laugh hysterically last night?
