NaNoWriMo 2014

Here we go again!

This week, I’ll be posting a blog about tips that have helped me “win” NaNo 22 times. (Not every
November, but I have written 22 of my books in 30 days or less.)

I’ll also link you to my 2006 journey that started it all. 🙂

Good luck! Who is participating?

Event next weekend! Books by the Banks!

Good morning!

Well, I haven’t been to bed yet. But there’s so much to do!

This Saturday, come see me!poster-for-web-3

I’ll be in Cincinnati for Books by the Banks! It’s a free event at the Duke Energy Convention Center from 10am-4pm. I’ll sign your books, Breyer models, arms (I have signed many arms, lol!) or whatever you would like. I’m honored that BBTB chose me to come and represent UNICORN MAGIC.

I won’t be the only one there. There will be dozens of awesome authors including my friend, Gwenda Bond. Guys, I don’t want to be that weird, awkward girl sitting at a table with no amazing Team Canterwood members to meet. 🙂

What’s everyone doing this weekend? How’s school? Update me!

xx

WILD HEARTS cover reveal

I hadn’t received the official “okay!” to post the cover of WILD HEARTS yet, so imagine my surprise (not really, I am kinda used to this! ;)) when someone Tweeted the cover to me!

So . . . I am very excited to share the cover of my first young adult novel that is part of a YA clean teen line called IF ONLY. Here’s the cover of WILD HEARTS out May 2015!

WIld Hearts cover

And this is the copy from Amazon:

Brie Carter’s father’s land development business has taken her family all over the world,
but as soon as they arrive at their new home in Lost Spring, Wyoming, the town turns out to protest. They don’t want a new hotel if the resident mustang population will be displaced or hurt as part of the deal. Then Brie meets Logan, a gorgeous local who has a special connection to the mustangs, and she is immediately drawn to him . . . and the horses. However, with Logan’s father leading the protests and Brie’s father refusing to budge, it’s clear that their parents are heading towards an all-out war. Can Brie and Logan find a way to save the mustangs and be together? Or is their love doomed from the start?

This new title in the If Only line is the perfect summer read and proves that love flourishes in the wildest places!

Thank you so very much to my lovely editors Laura Whitaker and Sarah Shumway. Thank yous to everyone on the Bloomsbury team. I’m so excited to be on this journey with all of you!

WILD HEARTS releases May 2015. 🙂

GONE GIRL is almost here!

Here’s the HuffPo’s take on the film: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/27/gone-girl-review_n_5891606.html?utm_hp_ref=entertainment&ir=Entertainment

Who’s read the book?

Who hasn’t?

Anyone want to see the movie?

GONE GIRL is one of the craziest, most amazing books I’ve read. Unforgettable.

Review UNICORN MAGIC?

Hey all!

Have many, many things to catch you up on but am on a very tight deadline. Favor?

If you could leave a review for Unicorn Magic 1 or 2 on their Amazon pages, I will love you forever!

Srsly . . . if you leave a review (long or short–doesn’t matter!) leave me a comment here and I’ll give you a shout out on my Twitter! For me to write HEATED, SANCTUARY, and WEST COAST PREP, I need Unicorn Magic to be doing well. Anything you can do to spread the word about the series would be so, so appreciated. <33
