Camp NaNoWriMo Day 1!

Hiii, fellow campers!

Today’s the day! We kick off our camping adventure all thanks to NaNoWriMo. πŸ™‚

I’ve never been camping in real life . . . sleeping outdoors doesn’t really, um, appeal to me, but THIS kind of camp is something that I can get behind.

The Fosters spring finale–SPOILERS!

Screenshot 2015-03-24 15.09.17

I have mad love for THE FOSTERS on ABCF. The show is so well written, the actors are fab and it has an amazing ensemble cast of characters that you can’t help but love.

Last night, the show ended until fall and then there was a bit of a shock with Jake T. Austin who plays Jesus Adams-Foster on Twitter. He wrote the two above messages after an episode containing

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!

a car crash scene with Jesus, Mariana, and Ana where a police officer said over radio “one reported fatality.”

Now, I was chatting over Twitter with Editor Extraordinaire Caroline A. and we both were shocked that Jake’s publicist let him put out this message. Is he saying Jesus died in the car crash? Or, what we both guessed, that it is NOT Jesus but rather his character is going off to boarding school which was an option teased in the show.

Either way, I don’t think it was the best move for Jake to Tweet that he is off the show for season 3.

What do you guys think? Who watches? What do you think Jesus’s fate will be?

YA book bloggers! Anyone want to host me?

Hi, guys!

The publication date for WILD HEARTS–May 5–is fast approaching! I would love, love to do a blog tour with some YA book bloggers who would be interested in having me. In return, I’ll post a link on my blog and will Tweet about the visit, too.

If you want to discuss it, please email me at hartsforjess AT gmail DOT com. Thanks so much!

Please, please help and spread the word

As many of you who follow me know, my brother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He is my younger brother and it is devastating news, BUT I (and Jason) have to remain very positive!

Jason’s good friend, Ken, set up an account for Jay at Go Fund Me to help with Jason’s very, very expensive chemo/radiation treatments.

I’ve never asked something more important than I’m about to ask you now: will you please donate any amount to help my brother? Can you also spread the word via any way you can through social media?

Here is a link to his Go Fund Me page:Β http://www.gofundme.com/gofund-me-okevqw

ANYTHING that you can do will be appreciated more than you know. If you can’t donate, please repost this and share it wherever you can.

Thank you so, so much. ❀
