You asked . . . so here are the rules for scoring an invite to my Ultimate Harts Party! (See post below if you have no idea what I’m talking about.)
Please read everything carefully! Then go, go, go and I can’t wait to start receiving your entries!! I love you all! ❤ I absolutely am sooooo excited about this and can’t wait to party with a dozen Harts! You’re the best readers in the world!
THE DEETS:
When: BREYERFEST 2015
Exact date: To be determined. It will be one evening (either Friday or Saturday) during BF (April 17-19, 2015)
Time: To be determined.
Allowed number of guests: 12 (I wish I could have 1200 but my room won’t hold that many 😉
When can you enter? NOW until May 1st, 2015 at midnight EST. No entries after that date will be accepted.
When will you find out if you got an invite? By May 30, you will receive an email if you’re in. If not, I’m sorry, but the spaces filled up.
What do you have to do to enter? BE CREATIVE!! Show and tell me about it via email as to how you are spreading the word about Canterwood Crest to people who don’t know about the series.
Some examples?
Email me what you’re doing/going to do and include photos!
Shoot a video, post it on YouTube and tell me all about your project!
Make Canterwood posters, bookmarks, whatever, and ask your school/local library to display them. Send me pics to prove it!
Get your local library to carry the series and shoot pics of them at your library.
Make CC t-shirts!
Create a Canterwood trailer and post it on your YouTube channel then send me the link.
Get traffic and more likes to the Canterwood Crest Facebook page. Email me and tell me how you’re doing this.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! The more creative you are and the better you promote Canterwood and reach new readers, the more likely you are to score an invite! Since I love you all so dearly, I will NOT be choosing the winners! Instead, a friend of mine will be going over all contest entries and will pick the winners in May.
Another idea?
Paint a model horse like this one in Canterwood colors and do something with it! Send me your pics! Paint your own REAL horse, LOL, with non-toxic paint and share the photo with me.
THE TINY RULES:
1) YOU MUST ALREADY BE COMING TO BREYERFEST. Like, for sure. I’ll need to actually speak, Skype, FaceTime (whatever!) with a parent before I pick you as an official winner if you’re a finalist. If the parent says you are indeed coming to BF, then you’re one step closer to an invite!
2) You can be 9 or 99 to enter! 🙂 All ages are welcome!
3) You HAVE to email me at hartsforjess AT gmail DOT com with a LINK (DO NOT send me your video files–your entry will be deleted. If you create a video, post it on YouTube and only send the link.) to your video, Facebook post, blog post, photos of your project, your letter explaining what you’re doing, etc.
4) All entries have to have some type of written explanation as to what it is and how your project is getting new readers.
5) Emails asking if I received your entry will not receive a response. Sorry, guys, I don’t have the elbow capacity for it!
6) You can snail mail projects/letters/photos to me! They must be postmarked by May 1st, 2015. Please send to:

7) In your email subject, please put something like “Ultimate Harts Party contest entry”
8) Failure to follow all rules will result in automatic disqualification.
9) If you do some sort of social media campaign that you can’t link me to, then take screenshots and include those in your email.
10) When you submit an entry, you are giving me the rights to post it on my blog with photos, links, etc. I will NOT use your full name or location. Don’t worry! 🙂
11) In your email, tell me: Your full name, full address, email address, age, parent’s email and phone number.

I’ll be staying at the Embassy in Lexington. You MUST have a parent or guardian willing to bring you to my hotel room and pick you up after the party. There won’t be enough room for all the parents to stay in the suite, but there’s plenty of room for them to hang in the Embassy. 🙂
